Monday, November 2, 2009 - Testing tool supplier Cogitek Inc have announced Version 3 of their specialist Adobe Flex testing software, RIATest. Previously a Windows only product, the new version now also puts RIATest firmly on the Mac OS platform as well as adding a range of new functionality and improvements requested by an active user community.
With prices starting at $499, RIATest is aimed at the serious Adobe Flex developer, tester or quality reviewer who requires a solid product with a support infrastructure over and above that of cheaper open source options. And, by specialising in the one area, Cogitek are able to offer a level of functionality normally only associated with the more heavyweight, corporate testing tools sold at 10 or 20 times the price. Other changes in Version 3 include various IDE improvements including code completion, syntax checking and test results visualization reports.
